Extending a permit

• If you have a permit on grounds of family ties you can click on "Moving to someone in Sweden". Once there, chose the correct page based on your family member's cítizenship.
• If you have a work permit you can find information on For people wanting to work in Sweden. If you come from a country outside the EU can then chose the page Employees from countries outside the EU.
• If you have a residence permit for studies you read on the pages under Studying in Sweden and chose page depending on type of studies. (Please note that if you are now studying at a university or college and want to apply for work permit you find information on the page "Applying for a work permit in Sweden" -> Students
• If you have a visa or a residence permit for a visit you click on Visiting Sweden" and chose page based on the type of visa or permit that you already have.
