Leaving Sweden – For those who have sought protection and asylum in Sweden

These pages provide information for those people who
  • applied for asylum but would like to withdraw their application and return home
  • applied for asylum but have received a decision on deportation or refusal of entry by the Swedish Migration Board and are stating their acceptance of this and their willingness to return home voluntarily
  • applied for asylum but have received a decision on deportation or refusal of entry by a migration court or the Migration Court of Appeal and wish to return voluntarily
  • applied for asylum but the decision on deportation or refusal of entry has come into force in accordance with the law (legally binding decision from either the Migration Board, migration court or Migration Court of Appeal) and who are not considering leaving the country voluntarily.
