Projects providing support for returnees
Many organizations, both in Sweden and abroad, offer various types of support to people who are at the point of returning home, either because they wish to, or because their asylum applications have been rejected. This support may involve information and counseling in Sweden prior to return, as well as advice and support upon return.

The Swedish Red Cross Network on Return
Through a project which is jointly financed by the European Return Fund, The Swedish Red Cross offers support to those whose application for asylum has been refused or have received an expulsion order. The purpose of the project is to enable refused asylum seekers to return safely and with dignity.If you are returning to Iraq, Kosovo or Serbia you may be eligible for additional support in order to facilitate the returning process and increase your chance for social re-integration.
