Students in Sweden

As a student at a university or college you are always entitled to work while you are studying. If you are working or have been offered work in Sweden, you may apply for a combined residence and work permit, for example if you want to end your studies and work instead.
You must have a student residence permit and you must have completed at least 30 ECTS credits or one term of postgraduate education in Sweden. You must apply before your student residence permit expires. The conditions for being granted a work permit must also be met.
