A developing authority
There are many development projects in progress at the Swedish Migration Board.
The authority is implementing many major development projects as it endeavours to meet the challenges of both today and tomorrow. For example, the Migration Board is upgrading its electronic administration systems. Reforms are also being implemented which will provide better service and reduce waiting times within the asylum process. The Migration Board is also responsible for Sweden's involvement in VIS, the European visa system.
Common to all these projects is their contribution to increasing the Migration Board's efficiency, accessibility and service as well as strengthening administration of the law with a high demand placed on quality. It's all aimed at making life easier for applicants when they turn to us.
