What happens if I lose my job?
If you lose your job and do not get a new one within three months, the Swedish Migration Board may cancel your permit. Your work permit is always limited to a certain profession and sometimes also to a particular employer. If you find a new job that is not covered by the permit that applies to you, you must apply for a new work permit.
