When applying for an alien's passport or temporary alien's passport most people have to pay a fee. If you apply for a travel document you pay when you pick up your passport.Since 15 June 2011 the Swedish Migration Board does no longer accept cash payment. If you cannot pay with a credit card you will receive a paying-in slip when you submit your application in person.

You must in first place pay a fee when you apply. In second place you pay to the Migration Board's bank giro account 5223-6965. IBAN account in these cases is SE8112000000012810106886. If you do not pay the fee, we will not process your application. Travel document
If the Swedish Migration Board grants your application for a travel document you must pay SEK 350 when you collect it. Please note that you must collect your travel document in person. Mission abroad or consulate
If you apply for alien's passport or temporary alien's passport at a mission abroad or consulate, you will pay the fee when you apply. The Migration Board and the Swedish missions abroad do not adhere to exactly the same fee regulations. Further information can be obtained from the embassy or consulate to where you apply. Exeptions
Persons who come to Sweden within the framework of the refugee quota do not need to pay the application fee of the first passport. You do not need to pay an application fee in connection with the transfer.
