Studying in Sweden

New regulation on where to submit an application for residence permit


- 2010-05-11
In consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Migration Board has decided on the locations to which applicants from certain countries, which do not have a Swedish mission abroad, may submit their applications. This decision also concerns people who wish to apply for a Swedish residence permit, but who are asylum seekers in a third country. The regulation will apply as of 21 May 2010.
