The Applicants' Ombudsman
If an applicant feels they have received poor treatment from a Swedish Migration Agency employee, he or she may contact the Applicants' Ombudsman Marina Bengtsson.
Marina Bengtsson receives and investigates opinions or complaints from applicants, and she is also involved in the training of the Swedish Migration Agency staff.
However, the Applicants' Ombudsman does not deal with matters relating to assessment, decisions or appeals of individual cases. Such questions will be answered by the Public Contact Centre.
The Applicants' Ombudsman is also in contact with volunteer organisations, public counsels, trustees and other applicant representatives.
