National Service Centre

At the National Service Centre, you can submit applications and ask questions about

  • resident permits for work, studies, visits or to live with someone in Sweden
  • aliens' passports or travel documents
  • Swedish citizenship
  • protection and asylum, allowances or repatriation.

If you come on other business, you should still check in at the National Service Centre.

We have fewer visitors on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. If you visit us any of these days we will be able to help you more quickly.

If you want to apply for asylum you should turn to Streteredsvägen 90 i Kållered.

Book an appointment for your visit if you are going to:

  • have your fingerprints and photograph taken
  • apply for an alien's passport or a travel document
  • collect an alien's passport or a travel document
  • extend tourist stays in Sweden.

Extending a residence permit based on the need for protection

This is where you can submit an application for an extension if you have been granted a temporary residence permit based on the need for protection.

This is where you can submit an asylum application.

At Streteredsvägen 94, Kålleredexternal link, opens in new window, you can also find the Swedish Migration Agency's accommodation for newly arrived asylum seekers.The accommodation is open night and day. Here you can receive a meal and a place to sleep for the night.

Detention

A detention centre is a locked facility for asylum seekers and other detained foreign nationals. A person may be detained in connection to leaving Sweden.
