The Migration Agency has moved to the centre of Sundbyberg

The Migration Agency´s offices at Pyramidvägen 2A in Solna and Rissneleden 6 in Hallonbergen are closed. From August 2018 you are welcome to our new National Service Center in the center of Sundbyberg.

National Service Centre

At the National Service Centre, you can submit applications and ask questions about

  • resident permits for work, studies, visits or to live with someone in Sweden
  • aliens' passports or travel documents
  • Swedish citizenship
  • protection and asylum, allowances or repatriation.

Opening hours:

Unbooked visits for reception- and permit questions 08.30–11.30 until 30 September.

Apply for asylum 08.30–15.00.

Booked appontments 08.30–16.00.

Special opening hours during the year

Book an appointment if you are going to:

  • have your fingerprints and photograph taken
  • apply for an alien's passport or a travel document
  • collect an alien's passport or a travel document
  • extend tourist stays in Sweden.


A detention centre is a locked facility for asylum seekers and other detained foreign nationals. A person may be detained in connection to leaving Sweden.

Take bus number 571 from the Märsta train station and go to a bus stop called Industrigatan.
