Where should I send in my application or my documents?

Most applications can be submitted directly on the web. If you have already submitted an application on the web, you should not submit an application on a paper form as well.

Additional information

If you have submitted an application, the Swedish Migration Agency will contact you if we need additional information from you. We will contact you by email if you applied on the web, otherwise we will contact you by post. You will then receive information on how to submit the information we need.

If you are applying for asylum for the first time and want to submit documents relating to your application, you should send them to the office at the Swedish Migration Agency where you applied for asylum.

If you have previously applied for asylum and have a temporary residence permit, or are a family member of a person who has previously applied for asylum, read here where to send your application.

The Migration Agency's fax number has been closed

The Migration Agency's fax number 011–10 81 55 has been closed. Municipalities and other authorities are advised to contact the Migration Agency via e-mail, which is a so-called secure e-mail between authorities. Fax numbers to units continue to function.
