    New regu­la­tions for rese­ar­chers, au pairs, interns and volun­teers

    After the turn of the year, new rules has applied to students, researchers, au pairs, interns and volunteers. The reason for this is that Sweden is introducing directives of the European Parliament and Council directive (EU) 2016/801 (Student and Researcher Directive).

    Old e-service for offers of employment closing

    As of Tuesday 15 December you will no longer be able to create offers of employment via the old e-service. It will be closed down completely sometime between 10 and 16 February.

    New and improved e-service means closure of old e-service

    As of 15 August 2019 there is a new and improved version of the e-service for applying for a work permit. This now makes it simpler, clearer and easier to create an offer of employment, fill in an application and navigate in the service. This simplifies mattes for you as a user.
  • 2019-10-29

    New procedures for established arrangers

    The Swedish Migration Agency has changed how the list of established arrangers is handled. In some cases, arrangers who are included on the list do not need to apply for work permits for performers, technicians and other tour staff.
