New website gathers information about work and entrepreneurship in Sweden
What rules apply if you want to come to Sweden to work or start a business? How do work permits, wages and employment work on the Swedish labour market? These are some of the questions that the new website workinginsweden.se provides answers to.
Now you do not need to search at various authorities' websites to find information about working in Sweden. The website workinginsweden.se gives you an overview of the rules and links you to the right information.
Workinginsweden.se is aimed at foreign employees, self-employed persons and employers who work or intend to work in Sweden, as well as Swedish employers who employ foreign labour.
The website is the result of a government assignment that eight relevant authorities – the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Work Environment Authority, Försäkringskassan (the Swedish Social Insurance Agency), the National Board of Trade Sweden, the Swedish Migration Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency, The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, and the Swedish Institute – received a year ago. The Swedish Institute has facilitated the work.
