Granted residence permits overviews
Here you find statistics about granted residence permits for work, studies, family reunification, asylum and persons from the EU/EES. The statistics are updated every month.
From 1 January 2022 the statistics are retrieved from a new data source (called Simba). As before, the central aliens database (CUD) is the basis for the Swedish Migration Agency's data and it contains information about all cases. The new statistics are presented so that they meet the requirements of the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services. The statistics are now only available in Swedish and in Excel format.
Monthly statistics May 2022
The monthly statistics show first-time applications, decisions and granted at all three instances (the Swedish Migration Agency, the Migration Courts and the Migration Court of Appeal).
