As a host family, you start the application by providing information about the employment. Once you have finished your part, the au pair must continue with their part of the application. The application will not be registered with the Swedish Migration Agency until the au pair has filled in and submitted their part of it.

Have you prepared all the documents?

Be sure to provide complete information and attach all required documents. The Swedish Migration Agency prioritises complete cases. We will not start processing the application until it is complete.

If you are unable to provide information about the employment via the e-service, you must instead send the agreement regarding au pair work to the au pair. The au pair must then submit the agreement at a Swedish embassy or consulate-general, together with their application.
