How to file a notification

Fill in the form:

Submit or send in the notification

If the child is not listed in the Swedish Population Register, submit the form to a Swedish embassy or consulate-general. Remember to bring the documents you need to attach to your notification.

If the child is listed in the Swedish Population Register, send the form to:

Pay the notification fee

If you are applying at a Swedish embassy or at a consulate-general, you can pay the fee when you hand in your application.

If you send in the notification from Sweden

Once we have received your application, we will contact you via email or letter with information on how to make the payment and how much you must pay.
