Payment to bankgiro is no longer possible
The bankgiro account that could previously be used to pay application and processing fees is closed from 30 June.
Previously, those who submitted their application on a paper form could pay the application fee to the Swedish Migration Agency’s bankgiro account. From 30 June, this is no longer possible.
Those who apply via one of our e-services will pay the application fee directly in the e-service.
Those who apply using a form, will receive an email or letter when their application is registered. The email or letter contains a QR code to use to pay the application fee. If the applicant cannot pay using the QR code, they will need to visit one of the Swedish Migration Agency’s service centres to pay.
