New meeting place for Ukrainians in Sweden

There is a new meeting place for Ukrainians in Sweden, designed to provide support, guidance and information.

The meeting place, called Unity Hub, is intended to make it easier for Ukrainians in Sweden to access information about their rights, opportunities and social conditions in both Sweden and Ukraine. It aims to strengthen the sense of community among Ukrainians in Sweden and help them settle in Sweden but also facilitate their contact with Ukraine. This has been requested by the Ukrainian government and forms part of Sweden’s support to Ukraine and its people.

Ukraine’s Unity Hub is run by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in collaboration with Swedish government agencies, the Ukrainian Government, and civil society organisations. The Government has allocated EUR 900 000 to enable the establishment and operation of the Hub in 2026.
