The Swedish Migration Agency unveiled its new logo on 1 September. The new logo will now appear on the Agency’s website. It will progressively replace the old logo across the Agency’s digital services, correspondence, decisions and other touchpoints where the logo appears.
The application card, which replaces the LMA card, will be updated with the new logo upon renewal. If you have this card, you can continue to use it as usual until it is time to replace your card.
Both the old and new logos may appear in various places during this transition period. Everything else remains unchanged. You do not need to take any action regarding the logo change.
The new logo is intended to strengthen the Agency’s connection to the government. In all your interactions with the Swedish Migration Agency, it should be clear that the Agency is Sweden’s official immigration authority. That is why the new logo features a heraldic coat of arms.
