Book an appointment to visit us
Here you will find information about how to book an appointment for your visit and how to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If you have an ongoing case, you will usually receive information from the Swedish Migration Agency via letter informing you that you should book an appointment to handle a specific errand related to your case. If you have not received information from the Swedish Migration Agency, you can log in to My page to see if you can book an appointment at the National Government Service Centre.
Book an appointment on My page
Depending on what you need to do during your visit, you should either book an appointment with the National Government Service Centre or the Swedish Migration Agency. In both cases, you must log in to My page to make a booking.
Choose the National Government Service Centre when you need to
- do a document check (show your passport, national ID card or EC/EU residence permit card)
- be fingerprinted and photographed.
When you collect your alien's passport or travel document, or in some cases your residence permit card, from the National Government Service Centre, you can do so without booking an appointment.
Only select the Swedish Migration Agency if you have received a letter from the Swedish Migration Agency stating that you must make a personal appearance.
Once you have booked, rescheduled or cancelled an appointment
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment on My Page. Once you have booked, rescheduled or cancelled an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email in your inbox, please check your spam folder to see if the email has ended up there.
