Only for people who have no debts with Kronofogden or CSN
One of the requirements for receiving the repatriation grant is that you must not have any outstanding debts with the Enforcement Authority, Kronofogden. This also applies to student loans with CSN.

Only for people planning to leave Sweden permanently
You are not eligible for the grant if you plan to move back to Sweden in the future. If you return to Sweden after receiving the grant, you may be required to repay the money.

Only for people with a residence permit on protection grounds
You may be eligible for the repatriation grant if you were granted a residence permit on or before 12 September 2024. However, this only applies to certain types of residence permits, for example if you have refugee status.
