You want to continue working in Sweden

If you want to continue working in Sweden after your EU Blue Card expires, you need to extend it. You must apply for an extension of your EU Blue Card before your current permit expires. Before you apply for an extended EU Blue Card, you need to be offered a job in Sweden.

You fill in your part of the application

If you applied before your current EU Blue Card expired, you have the right to continue working for your employer while you wait for a decision.

However, you are not allowed to work while you wait if your previous employment has ended and you have now applied for an EU Blue Card based on your job with a new employer.
