The Government has decided that the embassy in Bamako will be closed and the chancellery will close on 30 September 2024. As a result, the Swedish Migration Agency will also close all migration activities at the embassy in September.

Higher median salary
The median salary is the basis for the maintenance requirement for those applying for a work permit in Sweden. Statistics Sweden has announced that the median salary has changed to SEK 35 600.
